Garage Door Opener Just Clicks

Garage door opener just clicks. The eyes are aligned etc. I press the remote button again in normal operation the garage door would start closing and i hear a relay click and two seconds later the garage door starts moving in the opening direction. If your garage door opener is clicking it is probably also flashing a light on and off. The pattern repeats itself until the garage door reaches its up limit.
If you try to open your door using a remote while the lock system is engaged you ll notice that the garage door light will begin blinking continuously. Then when you press the remote button again the door should operate. Try replacing the batteries in the remote and trying again. If you want to clear the codes in the opener and start over again press and hold the red button till the opener clicks and blinks once.
