Garage Door Opener Led Light Bulb Does Not Work

Garage door opener led light bulb does not work. Garage doors operate using frequencies between 28 and 360 mhz. But if new led bulbs seem to have caused the problem look for a brand you can trust and an fcc label and you should be in good hands. I have not been able to determine yet if this really occurs but it has been reported in some cases. Unplug the garage door opener then immediately plug the opener back into the electrical outlet.

Bulbs will not work in older garage door openers and some people believe these new style bulbs can actually interfere with the transmitter and receiver causing the opener remotes to not work properly. Many are surprised by this but we aren t. We have observed brand new light bulbs that don t work right out of the box. Of course if your garage door opener has stopped working with its remote make sure to check the batteries in the remote before you take additional steps like buying new light bulbs.

Led lights have drivers inside the bulbs which produce a field that interferes with the garage door preventing the door from opening. If you hear a click replace the light socket if you do not hear a click replace the logic board.
