This sensor is designed to detect angular changes such as would occur when a garage door is opened. There are no zwave tilt sensors that work with the wink hub original or wh2. It lets you monitor your door s status from afar receive instant alerts when people come and go and control your garage from anywhere.
It is recommended that sensor be installed near the top of the garage door to minimize the distance that the door travels. In the wink app select the hub that your garage door opener is paired to and press the 3 blue dots in the top right of the screen. Easy installation sensor easily mounts to most any garage door no drilling required. When triggered the sensor sends a wireless z wave alarm signal which can be used as a simple alarm or as a trigger to activate or perform other functions such as turning on a light.
